The Best No Vodka Sauce Ever

Māla Girl has so much spirit, theres no vodka needed here. Vodka sauce is a classic tomato cream sauce ,thats made with butter, vodka, tomatoes and heavy cream. We've not only cut the prep time down by at least 50%, we also cut the dairy, added loads of nutrient rich flavor of Māla Girl and made it vegan. Trust us when we say you don't need to be vegan to keep this recipe on monthly rotation, its just effortlessly, feel good, taste good deliciousness!

Ingredients:

Olive Oil, 2 Tbsp.

Tomato Paste, 1 Tbsp.

JOI Almond Butter, 2 Tbsp.

Māla Girl Soulfull Classic, 1 Tbsp.

Hot Pasta Water or Hot Water, 1- 1 ½ cups
Preparation Method:
Heat saute pan over medium heat.
Add olive oil and tomato paste. Saute 1-2 minutes to enrich the tomato flavor…its worth it! Be careful with your heat as oil may splatter, Break tomato paste up and stir constantly.
Add in Joi almond butter, Māla Girl Soulfull Classic and whisk together for a few seconds, almost like you’re making a roux.
Pour in hot water and whisk constantly. Lower heat and bring to a simmer.
Sauce is ready!
We added 1 lb. cooked pasta, fresh basil, green olives and peppadew peppers. What makes this sauce stand alone recipe worthy is the option to completely transform the flavor, simply by using a different flavor of māla girl.
