Mystic Carrot Tahini Sauce
The name says it all! Soom Tahini brings out the mystic with this quick easy sauce/dressing. This isn't just any tahini that we've added into our dreamy and creamy line up. This is Soom Organic Tahini. Single sourced origin and roasted. We added a little crushed red pepper flakes and a pinch of sparkle salt to give the sweetness of the carrots a little kick. Just about any citrus would work quite nicely with this dressing as well.
MYSTIC CARROT TAHINI SAUCE
Need a last minute sauce or dressing? Need some flavor to drizzle into dinner? This is THE ONE. Sweetness of carrots and Peruvian maca and flavors of chai with a kick of fresh ginger, savory roasted tahini, lemon and orange juice make this a mystic miracle!
Carrots, chopped or shredded, 1/2 cup
Ginger root, 2 slices (about 1/2 Tbsp.)
Mystic Maca, 1 Tbsp.
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, 1/4 tsp.
Sparkle Salt, 1/4 tsp.
Organic Roasted Tahini, Soom, 2.5 oz.
water, 1/2 cup
Fresh Lemon Juice, 2 Tbsp.
Fresh Orange Juice, 1 Tbsp.
Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth and emulsified, approximately 1-2 minutes.
Pour into container and refrigerate at least 2 hours to thicken and chill.
No lemon or orange? No problem...lime would be just as good here. Grapefruit? Perhaps! Let us know! None of the above? Try using 2 Tbsp. of vinegar instead like apple cider.
